Climate Vision
Climate strategy consulting firm for former Director of Energy and environmental policy at senate democratic
leader Charles Schumer’s office. My role on this project was chiefly UX design and Web Development.
Intersport Global
Intersport is an independent media and marketing firm, specializing in property creation, content production and robust marketing services. I custom programmed an international geolocator tool with Hubspot workflows and Javascript and implemented the geolocator into the client’s WordPress Woocommerce site.
Nonprofits Insurance Alliance
Nonprofits Insurance Alliance is the largest provider of insurance for nonprofits in the world. I migrated their older WordPress and e-commerce system into a modern Hubspot CRM while improving javascript performance with Jquery, React, PHP, and SQL. Hubspot is a leading ecommerce CRM which allows businesses to track all of their customers, marketing, sales, and analytics in a single scalable platform.
West Marine
I worked as a Front End Web Developer for West Marine in Watsonville, CA, the world’s largest retailer of boating gear with 100,000 items for sale on their e-commerce site. The website is a Hybris e-commerce platform with Oracle Experience Manager handling the taxonomy. I also worked on their WordPress site using Gutenberg CSS.
On their fashion and lifestyle portals I built animated landing pages with JQuery animated parallax effects as the user scrolls. I improved site page load times, streamlining Javascript performance by minifying the JS, hosting them on Akamai CDN, and using Lazy Load techniques on all the images.
I also coded mobile-friendly, responsive landing pages, emails, and social media events using JQuery, Figma, HTML5, Bootstrap CSS, and Java. Using an Agile methodology, I worked with the QA team to address patches and bug fixes. I posted updates on Jira tickets and ensured the deployment pipeline ran smoothly. In 2019, the company was restructured, I was laid off and West Marine relocated to Florida.

I designed, built and maintained business websites using E-commerce PHP programming, CSS layout, SEO (search engine optimization), WordPress Gutenberg CSS and content management systems on over 50 sites.
